Community & Environment Drives, Mumbai

Took part in several TCS Maitree community and environment drives in Mumbai in April 2012. I joined a city clean-up drive, collecting street litter and making sure it was disposed of properly to keep public areas clean; volunteered with the Maitree Go Green initiative, planting trees to support local greenery and long-term environmental health; and helped with a Juhu beach clean-up along the Arabian Sea, clearing trash and waste from the shoreline to protect the coastal ecosystem.
