Mentoring at Weber State AI Hackathon

Mentored teams at the Weber State University AI Hackathon 2026, a competitive two-week sprint that ran from 21 March to 4 April 2026 with around 200 participants of varying skill levels building AI applications. My role covered technical advisory on AI tooling, API integration, and application design; strategic review of each project's viability and its technical and practical merit; and hands-on guidance to help teams push toward higher-quality, more usable products. I was invited as a mentor based on my background in LLM tooling, retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration, and AI-powered developer tooling.
