NSDL e-Voting Platform

A government-authorized, STQC-certified electronic voting platform that lets shareholders of publicly listed companies vote on corporate resolutions digitally across AGMs, EGMs, and postal ballots.
The NSDL e-Voting platform lets shareholders of publicly listed companies in India vote on corporate resolutions digitally, across annual general meetings, extraordinary general meetings, and postal ballots. It is authorized under India's regulatory framework for electronic shareholder voting and carries STQC certification, the government's quality-and-security assurance mark.
What it demanded
Voting systems have an unusually strict bar: correctness, auditability, and security are not features, they are the product. The platform was built to align with W3C standards and the STQC quality expectations required for government-affiliated certification. That meant careful attention to secure input handling, validation at every boundary, and a maintainable code structure that could be reviewed and certified rather than merely shipped.
My part
I built core application features with an emphasis on secure input handling, validation, and clean structure, and I carried out functional testing and database validation, troubleshooting defects and delivering fixes through repeatable test cases. The work was delivered at Tata Consultancy Services for NSDL as the client.
The platform remains in production at evoting.nsdl.com.
